Who Will Dance with Pancho Villa?

An original play about an urban Chicano struggling to understand himself and his place in his family legacy – a history of warriors, fighters, battlers against oppression and discrimination. He is gifted and educated, but conflicted and repressed.

Afraid to show his emotions, it takes his mother’s nearly fatal heart attack and the visitation of the spirits of his long dead relatives and of his historical idol, Pancho Villa, as well as a Jewish therapist to help him realize that he still can dance, love, and learn to forgive.
